Ton is actif on
the internet from the early years of 1990, the time
from the early years of the PC - Personal Computer
1992
The years that the
first connection for data transfer by electronic mail
were provided by using "infonet" a service
provided by the Dutch Telecom company PTT.
1992 - 1993
Ton was one of the
first persons who made data trafic possible for his
customers by electronic mailboxes.
Ton did this with
the company "Eurotender" which Ton runned
together with Joop Pronker. Data trafic was made possible
by a German organisation called: MAXDAT
1997
Ton moves to the
south of Spain where he started his internet and webdesign
business in the year 2000.
2001
This was the year
Ton first came acrross words as: search engine optimisation,
keywords, pay per click etc
2001
On behalf of a costumer,
Ton did start to study and finding ways in order to
have websites been found rather sooner then later and
also the importance of the content of them sites, Search
engines in the early years of 2000 and 2001 were mainly
runned by: msn, yahoo and google.
After a couple of
months Ton did find how he can control the ranking of
sites by the content, together with the keywords in
cohesian with the domain name.
2004
What has started
as a hobby did become pretty well proffesional after
Ton has been asked to build a website for a company
called Biomass Sugar.
Biomass Sugar is
a daughter company of Illovo Sugar, a real GIANT which
is part of Britsh Sugar, the second biggest sugar manufactory
in the world.
A listed company
on the world stockmarkets but unfortunatly could not
been found on the search criteria of google. Even with
the complete domain name google couldn't find a word.
As a little extra
for getting the job to build the site for Biomass Sugar
Ton did start to work on the Illovo Sugar matter and
after 2 days put them on the map of Google,com
Dr. Greg Burger
was surely well suprised with the performance!!.
The website www.biomass-sugar.com
was live in one week and been found on the most important
keywords in about 14 days.
